I offer clinical supervision and peer consultation to licensed social workers and other mental health professionals who are committed to ongoing supervision, consultation, and development in their practice or are attempting to meet the clinical licensing supervision criteria. Clinical supervision/consultation is essential for maintaining your professional identity. I understand how important it is to have a safe environment in which to work through ethical and clinical quandaries, as well as the opportunity to broaden one’s perspective and learn/strengthen a variety of skills.
I’m truly grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to grow and develop professionally, especially through tailored guidance and training in clinical supervision. My experiences with clinical supervision have been enriched by the Advanced Clinical Supervision Certificate program I completed at Smith College. This education has been an asset to my career.
I have provided clinical supervision since 2009 to MSW’s in training, LSW’s/LCSW’s as well as pre-doctoral and doctoral psychology interns. This has included my development and presentation of many different training seminars on topics such as: Crisis assessment & intervention, sexual assault and therapy, countertransference, the value of self compassion, the supervision relationship and managing emotional labor. I had the opportunity to coordinate the University of Pennsylvania’s Master’s Level Clinical Social Work Internship Program where I had the honor of working alongside other passionate social workers and mentors. I also launched a similar clinical training program for Second Year MSW students at the University of Maine’s Counseling Center.
Personally, I have valued my own supervision and mentorship over the years and am committed to providing a safe, supportive space for others who want to embark on this personal/professional journey of development.
Currently, I offer individual supervision for $120 per hour. I understand how difficult it can be to become licensed in terms of time and cost therefore at times I will offer a sliding fee depending on your unique financial circumstances.
